Good morning dear readers, this time I will talk to you about a rather interesting topic, we will see my opinion about the study program of my career and the modifications that I would make, it is a good opportunity to evaluate, question and think about how to do things better for forestry futures. Well first of all I must say that studying at the University of Chile is of a very high complexity, this because the entrance requirements are quite demanding, the professors are researchers of first level, and the curriculum is of an intense load, consuming an immense amount of time of life of the students, this last situation is quite sad, because it generates great emotional problems in the students because they can not dedicate time to their personal life, to their artistic, sports, social, loving or familiar activities as they would like, this is really an important point because it has generated a large number of students with psychological problems, emotional weaknesses that can lead to a collapse on the part of the student, in my opinion in the curriculum there are unnecessary courses, such as course Introduction to Research and Innovation, this course taught me absolutely nothing and consumed part i important of my life and youth, time that I could have used in other areas of my integral development as a human being in his training stage. In other aspects the university has good technological tools, good sports areas, and adequate infrastructure, the only big problem is the excessive consumption of time.
Dear readers!

Hello dear readers, today I will tell you about my favorite subject this semester at the university. This semester was something particular, I was honestly very unmotivated with the career because most of the classes were extremely boring as well as situations outside the university that affected my concentration, but in any case there was a subject that despite its high demand reinforced my forestry spirit, this subject is called processes and interactions in plant formations, it is a course of ecology and it is imparted by a highly qualified team of professors, the coordinating professor of the course is Alvaro Promis. It is a very interesting subject that seeks to deliver the tools to understand the ecosystems, it is pure ecology and that is why it is quite entertaining, but unfortunately the evaluations are of a high complexity and did not obtain the expected results, which evidently affects the motivation of the student, personally my way of dealing with it was to decide to learn and not worry about the notes, but the key was to enjoy the learning.

Good morning dear readers, today I will talk about interesting topics, I hope you like it.
In this blog I will give my opinion about some questions.
Violence on television?
In my opinion violence on television is a complicated issue when children are added, because they can assume negative behaviors as if they were positive because they saw scenes or movies or cartoons doing that action, which is why it is important to place restrictions on the schedules.
Adoption?
Adoption is one of the most beautiful acts that a human being can perform, it is an act of solidarity and to open our hearts to children who for some reason are in that situation, the nobility of this action lies in having the ability to deliver love to beings who need it so much.
Having pets at home?
I think that only the people who will be responsible should have pets at home, because the animals need some things like love and food, and they need to go out some times to play.
Recycling?
I think that recycling is very important because pollution is at very high levels today and recycling helps to reduce it and we can do many things with recycled materials.
I say goodbye, greetings.

Hi everyone! Today’s post will talk about my future job.  In future I would like to work in a national park, and have the possibility to spend more time on the nature, I really like the forest, and I enjoy every minute that I spend on the nature. The idea of work in this, is that I want to work in outdoor, and try to spend less time in an office. I really like travel and meet new people, so I would like to travel in my future job, and if I will be working as a forestry, I think that I will have to travel much times. The salary is not something that I really care about if it is about the work I would enjoy doing, so I would be satisfied with earning enough to lead a good life. Now I am studying forestry, and I like the career very much, first I started to study because I like to spend time in nature and outdoors, something I do not like is to spend time in an office, so work outdoors was something very tempting when I choose the career. I think that when I start working, I will have to work in anything to gain experience, but always I will try to get this kind of job.

Good morning dear readers, this time I will talk about some postgraduate I would like to do in the future as part of my academic training. In my opinion in the current world it is important to move forward and not get stuck, that is why the realization of post-university studies has become one of my priorities for the future, and it is a goal that I have proposed to fulfill anyway . As I mentioned before the natural sciences, ecology and botany, are part of my interests, and lately the soil sciences have also caught my attention, that is why I project myself working in one of those areas, the academic offer is quite broad and in Chile there are good institutions to opt for interesting postgraduate studies, but there is no doubt that studies abroad are of great importance when looking for work and the support provided by institutions of higher education in Anglo-Saxon countries is important, but The most obvious problem will always be the language, which is why, according to my abilities, I will decide if I want to study in Chile or I definitely start studying outside of Chile. Online education is not to my liking, I consider important face-to-face classes so in that sense that option is discarded.

Well, dear readers, I hope you are well, greetings

Hello dear readers, today I will talk about the profession I chose for my life, or at least for the one I am studying, which is Forestry Engineering. I chose this career because it would allow me to know about ecosystems and particularly plants, both concepts are captivating and worthy of being understood. In this profession I hope to play as part of some NGO or state agencies that allow me to contribute to the conservation of nature, a key aspect if we want to project ourselves in the future. The conservation of nature does not have as its sole purpose its preservation only because of its right to exist, but also because of the diverse ecosystem services it provides to humanity, services associated with food or the supply of products of daily use, in addition to other key aspects such as the provision of renewable energies or even eco-systemic cultural services. There are people who have told me that work is scarce and that the area is in crisis, while another informs me that it is an area with great potential, money has never been my priority anyway.

Greetings dear readers

Good morning dear readers, in today's blog I will talk about a country that I would like to visit. A country that I would like to know is New Zealand. The reason why I would like to go to that country is mainly due to its natural beauty, I have known that it has amazing landscapes that should be seen with my own eyes, knowing its flora and fauna is of great interest to me because I am a lover of nature. In New Zealand it would be interesting to study a postgraduate degree in relation to nature, besides being an Anglo-Saxon country, which would be a good opportunity to learn English. I do not know much more about this country but it would undoubtedly be a very interesting experience, especially knowing cultural aspects, its people, its food, way of relating, among other important things when arriving at a new culture.
I hope you liked my post dear readers, have a nice day.

Good morning dear readers, this time I will talk about a memorable vacation.
This year I had the opportunity to visit my family in southern Chile, specifically in the city of Maullin. In this place I did many things, one of them was learning to ride a motorcycle, because my cousins are fanatics and they lent me theirs, besides that, one of my cousins has a boat, which we tried in a nearby lake, it was fantastic. Together with my family we sailed from two in the morning until dawn to visit a place that was paradise, this place could not be accessed by land, only through the sea, it was of exceptional beauty. In the house of some friends of the family I ate the best barbecue of my life, a magnificent lamb, and one of the nights I went with my cousins to observe the stars near the sea, an unforgettable experience. Family warmth, home cooking, the beauty of nature and new experiences made these holidays an unforgettable memory.
Greetings.

Good morning dear readers, today I will talk about a pleasant and light theme, music. My ability to play instruments is nil, but I love listening to music, because it floods the atmosphere in which one finds oneself intensifying sensations and emotions. There is music for every moment and for every mood, there is music to study like jazz or classical music, or music to do physical exercise like electronics. When I feel sad and I'm alone, I put on my headphones and enjoy a good piece of Debussy or Erik Satie, and I enjoy listening the Nocturnes of Chopin who accompany me in those moments of melancholy and introspection, intensifying emotions and delivering a window of mental clarity to think about certain topics that bother me. But as not everything in life is to cry and suffer, to share with my friends we listen to reggaeton or trap, which, although they are not songs of great content, serve to accompany an atmosphere of laughter and distraction. When I exercise with my friends, electronic music is the best companion, magically enhancing the physical capacity of people. Greetings dear friends! See you next.

Dear readers, this is the last post that I will have to write, and the topic will be an evaluation about what this process has been, in which I have had to carry out the construction of a personal blog. First of all, it is quite interesting to have a space to express our ideas and address different issues with broad freedoms, it is nice to write a few minutes about a topic and develop it with creativity, even more if it will be published in an online platform. In relation to the meaning of this activity for my learning process of the English language, I think it has been quite positive because writing skills are developed, mainly writing, so that a more correct ordering of the ideas is promoted at the moment of express themselves in different contexts. In addition to the knowledge in English that is acquired with the writing of a blog, this process helped me to know more about my classmates when having to read their writings, in this way I could know their opinions, views, and feelings in front of various topics.

Dear readers, I say goodbye very cordially, I hope you have liked reading this blog, greetings!

Hello dear readers, in this post I will tell you about a subject that I like a lot, and I enjoy studying, the subject is structure and functioning of ecosystems, which is taught by professor Pablo Fuentes. This subject is very interesting because it helps to understand the ecosystems, to understand the dynamics of nature, and to know the interactions between the biotic components and the abiotic components that make up an ecosystem. The knowledge it provides is quite comprehensive because it addresses varied contents such as soil, climate, flora and fauna. Another important aspect besides the contents of the subject is the teacher, who is a highly trained man in the field and a recognized researcher, specifically in the soil science, which is a determining factor of ecosystems. In addition to the classes, the course provides interesting reading material that helps to deepen the contents treated. In relation with the evaluations, the course is of high demand, and includes theoretical and practical activities, such as field trips and make many reports about the ecosystem observed.

That's it, dear greetings readers, see you in the next post!

Hello dear readers, we will meet again after a long time! In this post I will tell you about an admirable man, Alexander Von Humboldt, in short, an integral man. He was a naturalist of excellence, who addressed various areas of knowledge with the aim of understanding the structure and functioning of nature, with that purpose he dedicated his life to exploration around the world seeking to understand the dynamics of the Earth, in this way he visit different ecosystems in the world to learn from them. During his life he studied botany, geography, zoology, geology and even studied anthropology, this shows that he was a man of extraordinary versatility due to his amazing curiosity. Hello dear readers, this time I will address the topic "Climate Change" or "Global Warming", I hope you like it.
In general terms, Global Warming refers to the increase in the temperature of the climatic system of planet Earth. The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) affirm that it is highly probable that human influence has been the dominant cause of the observed warming since mid 20th century.
Personally, it generates me a lot of sadness, because the planet Earth is beatiful, we are very lucky to be actors in this beatiful scenario, in this magic theater. The majesty of the ocean lashing a ship in the middle of a storm, the mysticim of the forests, the music of the rivers, the peace of the deserts, the stoicism of a snow-covered tree, and everything that surrounds us is a wonderful masterpiece. The most painful thing for the soul is that we destroy it. The following sentence illustrates my feeling about it.

"I love not Man the less, but Nature more" - Lord Byron.

I hope you liked this delicate topic. I send you a warm greeting dear reader!

Hello dear readers, this time I will tell you about a photo that I like a lot...

This photograph was taken on February 3, 2018. In the photograph my dear friend Ignacio appears on the left and I on the right, this picture is an allegory that shows calm after the storm. After an arduous walk along and endless slope under an overwhelming sun, Ignacio and I found the wonderful shade of a few trees, specifically of the species Kageneckia angustifolia, known as "Frangel", a native species, these trees were in an area called "La Pirca". In that place we spent the night, we had many water, good food, shelter, sleeps bags, a bonfire, a good conversation and the most important, a friendship, we lunch and dinner like kings, with the most beautiful view of Santiago, then a beautiful moon illuminated the place, at that time we were rich, we had all the good things that a human been need.

Regards my dear readers...

Good day dear readers, this time I will talk about books, is an interesting topic, I hope your comments!

I am not a great reader, but in some opportunities I like to read some novel for pleasure, in this way my mind escapes from the tedious academic readings.

My favorite book without a doubt is Robinson Crusoe, an adventure novel written by Daniel Defoe, published on April 25, 1719. This book is beatiful, it's main character is admirable, it represents values such as loyalty and nobility, in addition to an effective and eficient way of thinking, and has a great determination to make decisions, particularly in situations of stress, showing great mental clarity, all these characteristics make him an integral man. Robinson Crusoe is in a very complex situation, alone on a island, but he always maintains his optimistic vision.

What is my favorite piece of technology?

Undoubtedly my favorite piece of technology is my computer. My computer is very important as academic support, because it allows me to write reports, search for information, communicate by email with other people, study the lessons that my teachers upload to the ucursos intranet, allow me to review my marks and listen to music while I study, in addition to many other  functions that I don`t remember at this time. My second favorite technological piece is the cell phone because it allows me to communicate much more quickly with friends, family and classmates through WhatsApp, this application is much faster and more informal than email. The cell phone is a great companion in moments of extreme boredom, due to it gives me unlimited entertainment.

I hope you liked my post, please leave your comment below!

Well, it's me again...

The last post I said that I studied Forestry. Why? Why choose this career among so many other?, well, don't was easy, at first I didn't know what career to study, but always I felt a great interest in natural phenomenon, and a great curiosity for plants, this in addition to my interest in outdoor activities projected that I choose for my future a career that had all this elements. So, What career offer me this components?, nature and outdoor activities, maybe biology but is much teory and nothing of walk under trees and cross rivers. A military life? no thanks, just outdoor activities and extenuant excercise but nothing of nature or science. Ecotourism? well, nature and outdoor activities but nothing of scientific foundations. In a moment geography was a really option, even I went to talk with a academic of Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile but he told me that in geography the study area is very broad and adresses humanistic and scientific aspects, but I want something more specific and specialized in plants and ecosystems. Then, I found a career that addresses my interests, scientific study of nature and outdoor activities, Forestry, and in the best place, the great Universidad de Chile in the Faculty of Forestry Sciences and Nature Conservation, the best choise!
